The PowerTrak™ mechanism is powered by a low voltage, portable, power device,(an electric Drill Motor), which is inserted into gear reducers located on each side of the mechanism. My solar pool cover is great, saves me thousands of liters of water in evaporation, but it was difficult to put the cover on the pool quickly. Rather than paying over €100 for a commercial tow kit, I made my own, for less than €20 in Cyprus. And, using bungie cord, it is semi-automatic-ish!
